They include some photos from San Carlos Beach, which has been closed from the number of sea lions that are there to feed on all the anchovies that have been present the past couple of months ... and which forced the club to move the Club's Navigation Dive to nearby Wharf 2.
I called the Marine Mammal Center about the entangled sea lions. They appreciated the info and photos and said that they are monitoring the site. They have to be careful as they try to cull entangled animals, since it can also stress those around them. Thanks to Jeff Tindall for a photo of the beach a few days earlier.
