Dennis Hocker talks on Training

July 3 General Meeting Dennis Hocker gave a presentation covering his scuba career and the onset of training programs in Aqua Tutus. Dennis began by describing the debate over the name for the club. In 1963, Dennis became an ATDC instructor, making him the holder of the Diving Almanac Book of Records for youngest scuba instructor. He ended the program by showing current training offered by PADI, DAN and IANTD. During Q&A, it came out that so far, Dennis has certified 810 (!) students.
