July entertainment was Bonaire - over and under water

Oliver Edwards presented a show about Bonaire assembling club members stills and videos into a travelogue of the island. Highlights included amazing video footage of an octopus hunting (thanks Jim), lots of nice underwater still images, very artistic graffiti, and adorable donkeys! Divers and non-divers, seasoned Bonaire travelers and those who’ve never gone had something to enjoy.

August entertainment was Indonesia 5 4 3 2 1.

August's entertainment was a photo journey of Indonesia presented by Paul Rosenblum. This hour-long session showed excellent images along with a simply terrific accompanying dialogue.

Used paddle boards available
Bruce Lanham writes: I have a Mulder and a Ryan type fiberglass paddle board available for free. Do any of your members have any interest in them? They're located in Pleasant Hill. It’s a 1st come offer. Contact Bruce at bruce.lanham@icloud.com.
Per Bruce: Photos are of a Mulder, we’ve been using it a lot. They’re 15’, it’s a lay down board as is the Ryan type board (19’). You paddle with your hands and fins(frog kick). Back in the days I’ve done as much as 10 miles in a day, Gualala River down to Sea Ranch & got a 10” abalone. There’s room inside for a 70 cubic inch tank.

They need to be washed and waxed and add a rope that runs from end to end. The Ryan is pretty nearly ready to go, the Mulder needs more work (you’ll need a pop-riveter).
