Greetings from the President

Jim Driggers monthly newsletter is here.

"Members Night"
October 3 General Meeting

Members night is where club members show their water themed photos or videos. We're encouraging all members to participate - you don't have to be an expert or have dove "amazing" locations. UW snaps from your gopro or topside pictures of club dives are fine - anything water themed.

Contact David well ahead of time - the longer the better and read the news article for instructions. People who were bumped last June will present first. Thereafter it's first registered (with David) first presenting, until we run out of time.

Board of Directors Meeting

Interested in how the club is run? Want to contribute to club activities? Come attend the Board of Directors meeting via zoom. All current members are welcome to attend. See the event calendar for details.

Derek Suring tutorial focused on using Aqua Tutus forums

Derek taught club members how to use our website, particularly focusing on using the website forums. The next topic taken up was a map-augmented discussed of common local dive sites: locations, parking, entries, what to see, etc. Finally, the issue of beach closure due to the current occupation by sea lions was addressed.
