Experience to Dive By Panel, June 2023 Presentation

For the club general meeting on June 7, 2023, the presentation was a panel discussion with three of Aqua Tutus' most experienced divers. Dennis Hocker shared the club's history from the time he joined as a teenager and became the club's youngest instructor through to the present. He talked about how dive instruction and training has changed and the importance of diving regularly. Arnie Warshawsky talked about specific activities to do before, during, and after a dive to make diving more enjoyable and safer. Arnie also shared his encouragement for divers to dive often to maintain and improve their dive skills. Oliver Edwards talked about underwater photography and provided helpful tips and suggestions for all levels of photographers. The presentation ran a little longer than most presentations, but the material was informative and engaging. Hopefully, those attending in-person or via Zoom, all got something they can use in their own diving.
