Elizabeth Taylor talks about Deep Ocean Exploration and Reseach 's products

For the October general club meeting, Elizabeth (Liz) Taylor, president and CEO of Deep Ocean Exploration and Research, gave a presentation of the work done by DOER. DOER provides consulting, training, engineering, and operations support for a wide variety of deep ocean marine work. During her presentation, Liz introduced us to some of the 20 or so human operated submersibles and a few of the many remotely operative vehicles DOER has designed and built since the company was started by Liz's mother, Dr. Sylvia Earle. For those interested in visiting and exploring the ocean below 200 meters, Liz's talk was intriguing and thought-provoking.
